Help!
July 20, 2008 – 8:22 pmI’m posting an initial set of photos taken during the Opening Service at Canterbury Cathedral. Patience is requested if some have no identifying captions — it’s not easy to get the names of all 657 bishops, plus their spouses. They also have a habit of hiding their purple lanyards. If you know any, please, please help me identify them. Even Lambeth staff and officials are having a hard time figuring out who is who — check out the photo gallery of the Lambeth 2008 Web site. No names, man.

Thank you so much for the brilliant coverage Tess and to Beatrice for your fabulous photos - you have both captured the dynamics of the meeting. We (Journal staff) would all love to be there with you just to help with the crazy schedule and to share in the excitement. Until your return however we must be content with the online coverage.
Keep up the good work and do try to get some rest.
